"At UCLA, we love to give back to our community. In my department we adopt a family for the holidays. What this means is, we find a family in our community who is in need of support. Wether it be food, clothing, money, or holiday spirit, we love to support families who need extra uplifting during this time of year.

"As a team, we gather information about the all the members in the family and see what it is they need help with the most. We gather gift cards for groceries and visa cards for the adults and gifts such as toys and clothing for the children. Its very uplifting and emotional to see the gratitude we receive.

"The best part of all, we do this anonymously without the mention of our organization. All the family knows is that a group of people gathered and donated gifts to them for the holidays. It is amazing to experience this!"
