The 2026 UCLA Branded Merchandise Showcase: Where Brand Meets Experience
The UCLA Showcase was more than a display of branded promotional products—it was a hands-on experience in how swag can come to life in meaningful, memorable ways.
Set against the energy of campus, the event brought together a curated group of top-tier vendor partners who didn’t just show products—they activated them. Each table offered something tactile, useful, and thoughtfully designed, giving attendees a chance to interact with items the same way their audiences would.
A Showcase Powered by Partnership
Our vendor partners—Logomark, Innovation Line, SanMar, Gold Star, PCNA, S&S, and Lane Seven—were on-site, connecting directly with attendees, sharing insights, and demonstrating the thought and strategy behind today’s most effective branded merchandise.
This wasn’t about flipping through catalogs. It was about conversations:
-
What works in real environments
-
What drives engagement
-
What people actually keep
Each vendor brought not just products, but perspective—helping bridge the gap between idea and execution.
The Gorilla Marketing Family in Action
What truly set the day apart was the presence of the Gorilla Marketing team—not just as hosts, but as active participants in the experience.

In a moment that felt both personal and perfectly on-brand, our founder, Chris Arranaga, made a special appearance… on his actual birthday. Rather than stepping back, he stepped right into the action—celebrating the best way we know how: by building something.
With cake shared among the team and attendees, Chris spent the day alongside his son and our President, Bryce, running the heat press for one of the most popular activations of the event.

Together, they created custom hats on demand—giving each attendee the opportunity to choose their style and walk away with something uniquely theirs.

It was more than a fun activation. It was a reflection of who we are:
Hands-on. Family-driven. Fully invested in the details that make an experience memorable.

More Than Giveaways
What made the showcase special wasn’t just the products—it was the intentionality behind them.
Every item represented a larger idea:
-
Utility drives retention
-
Quality reflects brand integrity
-
Design influences whether something is worn, used, or remembered
When those elements align, branded merchandise stops being a giveaway and becomes part of someone’s daily life.
The Takeaway
The UCLA Showcase reinforced something we see every day: the best merchandise doesn’t just carry a logo—it carries an experience.
From vendor collaboration to hands-on customization—and even a birthday celebrated behind a heat press—the day reflected what happens when great products, great partners, and great people come together.
We’re grateful to our vendor partners for showing up, sharing their expertise, and helping bring this experience to life—and to everyone who joined us and made the day such a success.
