Just Do Good: Gorillas See, Gorillas Do!
Last month, we launched a brand new campaign that we are VERY excited about! The Just Do Good Campaign was created with the goal of highlighting businesses, student groups, and private enterprises for various #JustDoGood service acts. Groups submit their stories on our submission page (FOUND HERE), then we select from the stories that showcase people making this world a better place!

This week, we're sharing a story about one of our very own Gorillas, our Social Media and Content Coordinator, Frankie Katafias. Frankie has been volunteering at Someone Cares Soup Kitchen in Costa Mesa with her family since 2014. She first became involved with the Soup Kitchen when her father volunteered his company for monthly service hours and brought Frankie and her sister along for the ride. Throughout her time at Someone Cares, Frankie developed bonds with fellow volunteers and the leaders of the Soup Kitchen. She learned the importance of preparing a warm meal and snacks for those in need. Whether it was peeling potatoes, sorting through produce or simply serving the patrons individually, Frankie was and still is touched by men and women who dedicate their time to serving.
"My experience with Someone Cares Soup Kitchen and Tutoring Center has been humbling, heart-warming and eye-opening," she said. She continues to serve whenever she can, and encourages others to donate food, time and other basic resources. No donation is too small.
To have your story published, please share it on our Just Do Good Submission Page.
